HO 1:87 Grain Tower Operation Craftsman Kit.
Haw River, NC — Red Wild Diorama has introduced its HO 1:87 Grain Tower Operation Craftsman Kit, a multi-structure industrial build designed for model railroaders and diorama builders seeking high-detail, layout-ready realism.
The kit represents a grain handling operation, combining four integrated structures--receiving pit, grain tower, warehouse, and office—with operational elements including a silo, chutes, dust collection system, deck, and safety ladder. Once assembled, the model forms a permanent, cohesive structure suited for rail-served agricultural scenes.
Constructed from laser-cut wood, the kit also incorporates 3D resin, styrene, and metal components, along with full window, door, and glazing details. Textured wall panels and a shingled roof enhance its craftsman-level finish.
A set of 16 included accessories—pallets, loaded pallets, shelving, barrel, trash can, and propane tank—allows for immediate scene detailing and operational context.
Designed for intermediate to advanced builders, the kit ships unassembled and unpainted and includes detailed instructions. Finished dimensions are 8.375" W × 10.75" L × 11.25" H.

The Ruins of War, by Bob Bisaccio
A great article in by Bob Bisaccio appeared in the January/February issue of the IPMS/USA Journal about the building of his diorama "The Ruins of War" A spectacular diorama of a German Tiger in the midst of ruins during WWII. Bob used several great products and was kind enough to give a shout-out to Red Wild Diorama, as he was able to use our "Real" Debris in his build. Got Job Bob!
